The Vennbahnradweg
…or getting fries in Belgium. 

This fantastic cycling route runs from Aachen to Troisvierges along an old railroad line. On 125 km you cross 3 countries without traffic. 
The view from the saddle: In the north forests and meadows are waiting as far as the eye can see. Remarkable water landscapes, rarities of flora and fauna and on top of it a picturesque nature reserve in the high moor of the High Fens. In between, and especially in the southern part, the low mountain ranges of the Eifel and Ardennes form an impressive backdrop.

von Aachen nach Troisvierges erzieht sich der traumhafte Radweg entlang einer alten Bahntrasse. Auf den 125 km durchquerst du drei Länder ohne in Kontakt mit Autos zu kommen.

Der Blick aus dem Sattel: Im Norden warten Wälder und Wiesen, soweit das Auge reicht. Unverwechselbare Wasserlandschaften, Seltenheiten aus Flora und Fauna und obendrauf ein Naturschutzgebiet wie aus dem Bilderbuch im Hochmoor des Hohen Venns. Dazwischen und insbesondere im südlichen Teil bilden die Mittelgebirgslandschaften von Eifel und Ardennen eine eindrucksvolle Kulisse.
